Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

Vicki getting her first look in person at the new puppy from Carousel Aussies."Well, we got our little Koda finally. He came to us thru all the efforts of all 3 breeders associated with TMA, and I want to thank all of you.

First off, from Carousel Aussies, Bonita, made this happen. She is the one who had the litter Koda came from, and he is beautiful. She provided top notch concern and care, especially during a really tough time in her personal life. Thank You Bonita, for our little gift from heaven.

Coda has been a joy since the minute we got him! He was delivered to us by Jean Burke, of Burke Farms, and she had the worst day trying to get him to us! She drove from Oklahoma to Texas, to pick him up and fly him, through DFW to Phoenix. She was bumped from 2 flights, and ended up spending many hours until she could catch a flight to Las Vegas, then catch another flight back to Phoenix. Because this was a whole day affair, she then had to spend the night before heading home. She REALLY went above and beyond for us! Thank You Jean, for hand delivering Koda.

Then there is Karla, who co-ordinated this whole affair. With many phone calls, emails and chats, she kept everyone in the loop up-to-date, with all the information. Thank You Karla, for helping keep this adventure all together!

It took 3 women to make our delivery of Koda a reality, and we thank you ALL so very, very much!!!
Koda adjusting well to the new home.
He has slept all night from the very beginning. He is VERY friendly - even if it's not reciprocated. He would rather play tug-of-war than to sit and kiss. He has now taken a liking to our lambs wool feather duster, and I am sure he thinks its a real sheep of some kind.

We have 3 big dogs, and they have come to accept him as a little brother. (The little brother that loves to bug you). He's climbing on them, trying to snuggle up close, shaking that little butt of his, acting like he's been part of our LITTER the whole time.

And we have a cat. Enough said... Coda loves to bark at him, and the cat will just look at him like he's crazy. Now to keep Koda out of sharing the cat box!

We've already taught him to 'sit'. We are having a harder time with 'stay'. He's pretty energetic - to put it mildly. We put together a little ramp up to the couch, and now he gets up and down at lightening speed, and LOVES to drag things (shoes, toys, feather duster, etc) up the couch with him. They now "belong" to him...

He's a very cute, happy and loving puppy, and fitting in just great with our family. Even our older dogs are starting to act like puppies again!"

JADE

"We called her Elizabeth, mostly Lizzy. This is the toughest little dog I have ever know. In the picture on left she was tearing her much bigger brother up. She isn't afraid of anything.

Shade Tree Aussies toy aussie Jade with her new familyNow Jade is with her new family. Loren says she is her constant shadow and very loved. Her name is Jade as she turned out to have truly green eyes. Thank for the lovely home for Jade."  Shade Tree Aussies

Carousel Aussies black tri micro aussie IvieIVIE

"I have to say she is a dream come true. I still miss my dog that died and cry for her sometimes, but Ivie is definitely helping my heart heal. I know I made the right choice for a breed. Her personality is delightful.

We play chase outside. When I get ahead of her I will squat down and she will jump into my arms. She has already barked at the my roommate's big lab just to let him know who is boss. She is already showing signs of protecting me from sounds she is not sure of.

Thanks again for your hospitality and for helping me fill the hole in my heart with such a perfect match."

Shade Tree Aussies blue merle micro puppies with there new mom. Little Bit and Silver, now Amaroo and Boomer (he is from Oklahoma)

"I'm so sorry it has taken so long we have just enjoyed them so much no one has wanted to put one of them down and pick up a camera. Their first week here they thought the Utah Shade Tree Aussies blue merle micro aussies playing in the snowweather was extremely cold. We took them out to feed the horses with us and they wimped out half way through and spent the rest of our time inside in my coveralls. I have called them hell on wheels when they get to playing they run like they have jet engines as their back legs.  So that they could go outside and find some grass, after every snow storm my dad would go out with the tractor and scrape the snow off the lawn. Don't worry they really started to like the snow after a while they now look for the snow to jump, dig, play, and tackle one another. They really like the barn now, and all the cats, since they are their size.  When I just grab my purse Roo (Little Bit) starts to bark at me and grab onto my legs, but she doesn't bite she wraps her legs around mine!

Shade Tree Aussies blue merle micro male enjoying the fireplaceWhen my dad gets ready in the mornings Boomer (Silver) will grab a hold of either his socks or his pant leg and just start to tugging on him! But what makes it really worth it is when we come home. When I let Roo out of her kennel or if someone already let her out as soon as she hears me or sees me she is by my side trying to kill me with kisses. She can never seem to give too many I normally have to tell her I have had enough so that she will stop. As soon as my Dad calls Boomer those jet engines kick on and as well as his little butt is wagging so fast I'm surprised he hasn't lifted off! Thank you so much I just want you to know how much we all have enjoyed them!"  From Nickole

Shade Tree Aussies blue merle toy aussie Angel with TylerANGEL

"Angel is doing great and has really taken to the family. Her favorite job is going upstairs every morning and waking up the boys. She pounces on them and licks them in the face until they get up. I’m not sure who enjoys the wake up calls the most - the boys or Angel. Here is a picture of Angel with our oldest son, Tyler, who is 8 years old. He took her picture to show-and-tell at school today."  From Dan
